I can't believe that next month is the last of the Flower alphabet.

If there is enough interest, I would like to do a new alphabet, Round the World.

I have had a quick search and it looks as if the only letter with no countries is X?

So for X, I will be happy with an alternative, as long as there is an X in the name!

If we go ahead, and I really hope we will, the first deadline will be last day of June, with letters A, B, C, D. We will then do 4 letters each month, finishing with U,V,W in November and X, Y, Z in December.

Is that ok with everybody?

Chrissie, can we use places, i.e. towns, cities etc or does it have to be countries?
Or, even, can I use for example N is for Niagara Falls?

Wait for it flks I have just found my grandfathers 1898 school prize which is a pocket atlas. I will be able to scan the maps for backgrounds so you will get The British Empire,The early bits of the USA & all the original names of countries (Great,East,West ,South & Little Russia) Its facinating,cant wait to get started
